What starts as a summer vacation in the tropical Alola region turns into the next exciting chapter in Ash Ketchum’s quest to become a Pokémon Master! There’s plenty for Ash and Pikachu to explore in this sunny new region, with exciting new Pokémon to discover and interesting people to learn from along the way—including the cool Professor Kukui and the fun-loving Samson Oak. More new faces will help guide Ash’s Alolan adventure, in the form of a group of skilled Trainers—Kiawe, Lana, Mallow, and Sophocles—and a mysterious research assistant called Lillie. Frequent foes Team Rocket have also made the trip to Alola, looking to swipe some high-powered new Pokémon. But they have some heavy competition on the villainy front: the ruffians of Team Skull, who delight in causing chaos and may have more sinister intentions…

Why did they remove Mega Evolution. It is 10 times better than Z-Moves
As of now i’ve only played 3 Pokemon Games in total: X, Alpha Saphire and Moon and i can’t make a solid opinion like most of the Pokemon fans here. But to be honest Moon is a big leap in quality after AS. From my perspective island trails in replace of gym battles is ok and a nice move by Game Freak. The plot is a bit… unorganized but hey atleast the gameplay and design is great! The post-game content is good with the Battle Tree instead of Battle Maison in AS (but it’s pretty hard when compared in difficulties). The new Z-Move is bad, we already implemented Megas in the last generations we don’t need another Competitive game balancing mechanics. Like you said the new alolan pokemons are very nice and fit very well into the Hawaiin enviroment (is what Alola based off). In conclusion not as bad like most people says it is but can be improved.
So i believe the editor of this game such be fired!First of all this is the worst pokemon game on the handheld series ever!5 how tutorials, i mean seriously. No gym battle system, i literally got to where it says im almost ready to do their new found pokemon league. And i just have the game in the box, i got that far and was like yeah this is cr*p. I usually can spend 100’s of hours on a pokemon game, I’ve spent like 20 max on this new one. Call me old fasioned but i like to create a party full of the new pokemon, no old ones untill after the elite four is beaten.I i couldn’t even do this! A instead of orignal pokemon they now have the same poekmon with different colours! No this game isn’t a 9.0 its a 1.0 Do not buy this if you’re a fan of this franchise it will ruin it for you!

It’seen a long time, but Game Freak, Nintendo and The Pokemon Company have finally done it: I’ve been sucked back into Pokemon properly. Let’s get the broad stuff out of the way right here at the top: I think Pokemon Sun & Moon is a bit brilliant. It’s not quite perfect, but it’s best Pokemon release in years.

This was by far the worst Pokemon game I’ve ever played. it had no replayability and I thought the last two were childish this is even worse
I got the game on release and put about 10 hours into it before losing all motivation to play. I want to give it another try now that the update for Pokemon bank is out I am thinking it might be the right time. Is Rowlett a good starter?

MrSirBossMan stevo302 No, because all that does is promote excessive grinding. And to some effect the game somewhat attempts to balance in the exp. share. Without it on, yes the game, will be difficult, but not in the correct way. It’s the same thing with nuzlocking. I want to enjoy the game as is, with far improved difficulty- mainly with AI that doesn’t suck.That said, the main issues in this game are outside the difficulty. No personal challenge can offset the terrible level construction and linear play here.
I had to share this with someone:Ladies and gents, you’re looking at (well, reading a post from) the very first Pokémon League Champion from the Alola region! That’s right, it was confirmed in the game itself. Pretty cool being the first ever. I rock (and ground and steel).
